Elective Rotations
Global Academies provides a unique opportunity for medical students and graduates to enrich their clinical training through specialized elective rotations at various U.S. teaching hospitals. These 4-week electives are designed to offer in-depth exposure to specific medical specialties of your choice, such as cardiology, neurology, radiology, and more. This program is tailored to cater to both International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and American Medical Graduates (AMGs), emphasizing practical experience in a real-world healthcare setting.
Participating in these electives allows you to delve deeper into areas that align with your career aspirations or personal interests. It’s an opportunity to not only refine your clinical skills but also to network with experienced professionals in the field. This networking is crucial for building relationships and gaining insights that can significantly shape your medical career.
Furthermore, these elective rotations at U.S. teaching hospitals are instrumental in securing Letters of Recommendation (LORs). These LORs play a vital role, especially for those IMGs and AMGs planning to apply for residency programs, showcasing your clinical competence and readiness to potential residency directors.
